Hi 👋🏻, I’m Alena, a UX/UI designer based in Irvine, California, with 4 years of experience in the tech industry.

My journey began with designing a website for my beauty business, which sparked my passion for web and app design. After completing my training at CareerFoundry, I started tackling challenges for wellness startups. This experience led me to a remote role at Best Buy, where I worked with my team to create intuitive mobile and web solutions for enterprise platforms.

I believe that effective design comes from a deep understanding of the problems at hand. As a systems thinker, I use data to tackle complex issues and develop holistic, user-centered design solutions. I'm passionate about research and creating impactful "Aha!" moments for teams.

Outside of work, I enjoy making ceramics, caring for my plants, and walking on the beach with my dog, Silas.
